BLS Provider classroom training - includes student manual AHA’s BLS provider course reflects science and education from the 2020 guidelines update for CPR and ECC (Emergency Cardiovascular Care). Basic life support (BLS) training reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, performing CPR, choking relief, using an AED, and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival. Target Audience The BLS (Basic Life Support)- Healthcare Provider’s course trains Registered Nurses (RNs) Life Guards, Paramedics, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians, and Surgical Technicians. Who needs to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED in a wide variety of in-hospital and out of hospital settings. If you have already had BLS training and you need to renew your certification, this is the class for you as well. It is important to review this information regularly, especially if you have not had to use the knowledge between certifications. Course Covers The components of high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants The AHA Chain of Survival for prehospital and in-facility providers Important early use of an AED Effective ventilations using a barrier device Importance of teams in multi rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi rescuer CPR Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants Course Delivery & Course completion requirements Video-based and instructor-led course. Your request for a refund will be granted if it is MORE than 2 days before the scheduled start time of a class, minus $5 cancellation fees. No refunds, partial refunds, or credits will be given for no shows, or cancellation, within 2 days before the scheduled start time of a class. Time and date from your email or text will be used for refunds. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, Heartbeat Savers CPR has reserved the seat for you as promised by your completed payment and has fulfilled our obligation by being prepared to conduct the course. Please don't get frustrated if you call/email/text and say it was an emergency or we could not locate you on Google Maps, many say that to request a refund for missing a class. Please understand it wasn't our fault either, we reserved the seat for you as promised with your completed payment. We still have to pay the reservation fees. If you register for the wrong class call us and we can help you. To be fair to other participants by not disrupting or distracting, children or anyone not registered for the class will not be allowed into the class.
